What To Do

Sports and recreation facilities in the Valley of the Sun are excellent. Guests can enjoy individual and spectator sports of all kinds or simply relish the beautiful climate relaxing by their own pool!

Golfers find the Valley of the Sun irresistible, with numerous magnificent courses within minutes of the homes. There are many available tennis courts, scenic cycle paths, and the area's many lakes allow for excellent boating and watersports.

There is a a wealth of exciting opportunities for children to enjoy the diversity Arizona has to offer. They can experience the exhilaration of white-water rafting on a tube through the desert on the Lower Salt River or if its waves and water slides they're looking for try Big Surf. The Cracker Jax and Fiddlesticks Family Fun parks offer an excellent day out and for the more adventurous, a ride on Arizona's largest rollercoaster at Castles and Coasters shouldn't be missed. Those who wish to experience the Old West should visit Cowtown Arizona, Rawhide or Old Tucson. There are excellent facilities for hiking along one of the many marked trails in the Valley or the less active can take a jeep tour, horseback ride or hot air ballon through the desert and mountain terrains. In the winter there are excellent facilities for skiing in the cool mountain areas of the north. There is something for everyone in the Valley of the Sun.
